Hi! I am so glad you are checking out my blog! I have created this blog in order to give potential employers a better understanding of who I am. Dear Visitor,
Thank you so much for taking an interest in my E-Portfolio. I have put a lot of time and effort into this blog in order to help you get the best understanding of who I am and what a great asset I can be to your company. Though I may not have over five years of experience in the communication and marketing fields, I am dedicated to furthering my knowledge and working towards my goal of owning my own company one day.
I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to achieve whatever they set their minds to achieve; I adapt this mentality everyday. My experience with the March of Dimes has taught me great marketing skills and has given me the communication skills necessary in order to properly market myself. I know what my strengths and weaknesses are and I am not afraid to put myself out there. Although I have just started working with Gap, Inc, I have developed great customer service and management skills already. I was able to get people to sign up for over fourteen Gap credit cards in one week which surpassed the whole teams weekly quota.
My best quality would be that I easily adapt. Although I may not exactly want to remain in the field that I am in now, I will continue to adapt and learn everything that is thrown at me. Through my blog, I hope to show all potential employers my personality and talents. I have attached my resume and I invite you to look over it. Biography
I was born on May 28, 1990 in New York City, NY. My family and I moved to Jersey City when I was very young and we have lived there ever since. My parents have always been entrepreneurs and have owned various restaurants and bars. Since my parents were always working, my sister and I were taken care of by our au-pairs. I feel this is something very unique about me because it has made me very cultured and accepting of other cultures.
I look back now and I am extremely appreciative of the education I was given. I was able to go to Catholic school all my life and then entered a business public high school. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to attend that school and was then placed in an all-girls Catholic high school. Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Being thrown through a loop like that has made me the person I am today. It taught me that life will NOT be handed to me on a silver platter and that it is much more rewarding when you work for your accomplishments.
All of my life I was in various dance, singing and acting classes. I was always in plays and visual performing arts programs. When I reached high school, I gave all of that up in order to focus on my studies. It was difficult deciding whether to go to college or to beauty school; I have such high hopes for starting my own salon one day. After applying to thirteen different colleges and finally deciding on The College of New Jersey, I promised myself I would somehow incorporate theatre and cosmetology back into my life. That is when I enrolled in the Makeup for Performance class at TCNJ (pictures seen below). Since then I have been focusing more on my career goals and finishing my bachelors degree. After college I plan to go to beauty school in hopes of pursuing my dream of owning my own salon one day.

Work Experience
Nanny Work
I have been a nanny since I was twelve years old. My experience as a nanny has given me an insane amount of patience and the ability to work with many different personalities. I was raised by au-pairs so sometimes it is easier to empathize with the children when they need to be left with a nanny. My nanny work was taken into extreme consideration when interviewing for my job with Gap, inc because it showed them that I would be patient and helpful with customers and that I would be able to multitask.
Tifkel Marketing, Inc
I started interning with Tifkel my senior year of high school. It was a fairly young company that offered small businesses the marketing tools they needed in order to get their name out in the local area. My main responsibilities were to flier cars and basically get the Tifkel name out there. As I went further into the internship, I gained more responsibilities such as more office work and actually handling my own clients. Although I was fairly young when I started with the company, I will always remember my experience there and use that as the foundation for my future internships/jobs.
March of Dimes, NJ Chapter
My experience with the March of Dimes has brought me so many networking opportunities. I have stayed in touch with the North Jersey office and my supervisor who continues to bring me to events and work with clients by presenting mutually benefiting packages. Through the march of dimes I raised over four-hundred dollars in proceeds that go towards research for finding a way of preventing prematurity. I will forever hold this organization close to my heart because they have done a lot for my family and me who come from a long like of premature babies.

Stage/Beauty Makeup Work
Growing up I was always involved in the theatre. I was also involved in cosmetology. When I got to college I wasn't sure which route I wanted to take. So, I found a way to combine both. Below you will see some beauty looks that I have done on myself and others. Below that you will see some outrageous stage looks I did for a class. After taking the stage makeup class I was able to help my sister with makeup for one of her films. Enjoy!
